The Berlin correspondent of “The Times” says that, despite warnings from the president of the court. Pastor Niemoeller deprived his counsel of the right to defend him because they refused his demand that they should insist on the re-admission of the Press and the public. COUNSEL APPOINTED BY COURT (Received 10th February. 10.35 a.m.) BERLIN. 9th February. The Court appointed an official not named to defend Pastor Niemoeller. The hearing was adjourned temporarily to allow counsel to familiarise himself with the history of the case.
