MAN COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE [By Telegraph—Press Association] WELLINGTON. 9th February. Charges of breaking and entering by night on 26th December the dwellinghouse of Miss D. Boyce and committing theft therein and of assaulting Wallace Craig on 28th January, were heard by Mr Stilwell S.M. against Charles Gordon Holland. He pleaded guilty to both and on the burglary charge was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. On the assault charge he was given three months’ imprisonment with hard labour. The case arose from his pursuit and capture by Craig when seen at the same window as he used in a burglary a month before.
