MAN RESCUED FROM DROWNING

l By Telegraph—Press Association] AUCKLAND. This Day. A single man, Harry Sturdes, aged 60 years, was rescued from drowning in the Manukau Harbour this morning. He was first seen struggling in the water near the Onehunga Wharf, and was rescued by John Harris and others. Sturdes suffered head injuries, but it is not known how he got into the water.
