The “Daily Mail’s” correspondent says that sabotage is suspected in connection with a fire in the hangar aboard the cruiser Birmingham at Portsmouth Dockyard on 15th January owing to the discovery of oil-soaked cotton waste in the wing of a seaplane in the hangar. Fire broke out in the starboard hangar of the Birmingham on 2nd January, and shavings were found ablaze in the mine-sweeper Hebe on sth January.
