JAPANESE AMBASSADOR
RECALLED FROM NANKING (Received 19th January, 11.0 a.m.) TOKIO, 18th January. The recall of Mr Kawagoe, Japanese Ambassador at Nanking is confirmed. Mr Hsu Shi-ying. Chinese Ambassador here, will leave for Shanghai on 20th January.
Cabinet decided to recognise the Pekin Provisional Government directly it becomes strong and stable.
