of the Sanders Cup committee of the Canterbury Yacht and Power Boat Association, which decided that the cost of refitting the Elfin would tie too great. It was reported that the Hilia’s owner had declined to place the boat unreservedly i-i the association’s hands. The committee decided to hold three lurther trial races on Blh and 9th .January to decide whether W. Tissiman or G. Brassed wili he the Canterbury skipper.
