NEW TOURIST RESORT
THERMAL VALLEY IN ROTORUA DISTRICT MINISTER'S REMARKS AT OPENING Hy Telegraph-Press Association) ROTORUA, This Day. The Minister of Lands and Tourist Resorts, the Hon. F. Langstone, yesterday paid a visit to the thermal valley of Orakei-Korako, which was recently opened by a private company as a tourist resort, and after inspecting the valley, officially declared the area open. The Minister said that he was most impressed by the attractions of the valley which should become one of the major points of interest in the Rotorua district.
