STRONG TIES OF FRIENDSHIP [British Official Wireless] (Received 1 Ght December, 10.10 a.m.) RUGBY, 15th December. When the new British Ambassador to Portugal, Sir Walford Selby, reached Lisbon, he referred to the strong ties of friendship between Britain and Portugal, and promised to clo his utmost to make them even stronger.
