PRESBYTER! AN ASSEMBLY CONCLUDES rUy Telegraph Press Association I AUCKLAND, 18th November. After a session which began on Wednesday of last week, the annual Presbyterian General Assembly concluded its proceedings to-day. New titles for the moderator and past moderators of the General Assembly were agreed upon. It was resolveo that the moderator in ollice should have the “Right Reverend” prefixed to his name instead of merely the "Reverend’ as formerly. Past moderators will be known as the "Very Reverend ” The newly-appointed moderator, who wif, remain in office until the General Assembly in November. 1838. is the Rl Rev. W. H. Howes. Otaulau. Southland.
