The interim dividend was at the 1 rate of 10 per cent, per annum, and the directors have increased the linal J |.half-yearly distribution to the rate of 11 per cent, per annum. Net profits in recent years have been las follows:—l934, £507.119; 1935, £023.j (599; 1930, £090,927. The year's dislriI bution in 1934 was 9J tier cent., and |in 1935 and 1930, 10 per cent. A special centenary bonus of 24 per cent, was paid in 1935. j i COLONIAL SUGAR COMPANY SYDNEY, 17tli November. I A net prolit of £509,895 was made by the Colonial Sugar Refining Co., Ltd., for the half-year ended 30th Scp- | tember, compared with £540,910 for the ! preceding six months and £489,420 for the September, 1930, half-year. Alj lowance for depreciation on refinery and mill plant for the past half-year ; amounts to £ 104,250. The board of directors proposes to pay a dividend amounting to 15s per ; share, which will absorb £438,750. and jto add £50.000 to reserve account.
