ANNUAL CllOllt RECITAL The Cathedral Choir will render j their annus l recital on Wednesday j next at 8 pm. in the Cathedral. Added i interest wiil be centred at the recital 1 as the new'v added pipes and accesso*-- 1 ies to the organ will be used, extensive, additions and improvements having , been recently completed bv Messrs ] Lawton and Osborne, of Auckland. The j major worlc to be rendered will be Mendelssohn's setting of the 05th Psaiin "O Come, lei us Sing.” also othc works for choir by Sullivan and , Stainer will be given. The organ nirn- [ bers include works by Bach, Coleridge- 1 Taylor, Lemarc. and Holloway, also i Bomwski’s “Adoration” for violin and j organ. The vocal soloists will include ; Misses M. Prussing, N. Moore, R. j Claughton. Mrs Clrughton, Messrs K. S. j Farmer. G. Newton and L. Bourne; j violin. Miss M. Claughton; piano (ac- ; comp.). Miss G. Hodgson; organist and; choirmaster, Mr 11. S. Claughton. ]
