SENTENCES AT NEW PLYMOUTH IH.v Telegraph Press Associationl NEW PLYMOUTH. 11th November. Thomas Norman George, labourer, aged 38 years, who was convicted on U.o counrs oi assault with inienl to commit a criminal offence, and one of indecent assault, was sentenced in the Supreme Court this morning to two years' imprisonment with hard labour, and on two counts of common assault, lo which he pleaded guilty, one year's imprisonment with hard labour, the sentences all to be concurrent. Reginald. Forbes Harrison, a youth aged 18 years, who pleaded guilty in the Lower Court to forgery and uttering. was sentenced to two years’ probation on special terms, and ordered to pay £3 2s lid, the costs of the prosecution.
