CONGRATULATIONS FROM MASTER OF RIVAL LINE United Press Association— B.v Electric Tplecraph -Copviehtl SYDNEY, 18th October. Upon the arrival of the Awatea today, Captain Davey received a picture postcard showing the Monterey and inscribed with hearty congratulations from Captain Johanson of the Monterey upon the achievement of the record Tasman crossing, “which will long reipain a tribute to your fine ship.” Captain Davey said he deeply appreciated this splendid gesture from the rival liner’s commander.
