FATAL INJURIES
PENSIONER STRUCK BY MOTOR CAR
I Uv Telegraph-Press Association) AUCKLAND, 12lh September. Struck down bv a motor-car as lie stepped from the footpath to cross the street in Mount. Albeit Road at about 6.30 on Saturday evening, Harold Arthur Rogers, single, aged about 50 years died in the Auckland Hospital this morning. Concussion, a compound fracture of the right arm and injuries to Ins back were sufferer! by Rogers, who was a war pensioner.
'llltoe persons witnessed the accident. A description of the motor-car, which did not stop, was given to the police.
