ACCIDENTALLY SHOT
MAN IN SERIOUS CONDITION Iffy Telegraph - Piths AsHuclatinnl ASHBURTON, This Day. Albert William Murdoch, a middleaged carrier, was admitted to hospital in a very serious condition from a rifle bullet wound in the neck, the missile enterting the chin. Murdoch was unable to make a statement, but the occurence was accidental, the rifle having been left behind a washhouse door by the victim's eldest son.
