AT MOUNT KOSHIUSKO j FEELING EFFECTS OF TRIP I United Presi- Association -li.v Electric Telegraph -Onpyriehtl SYDNEY, Bth September, The Press Association representative at Mount Koskiusko reports that the New Zealand ski team spent to-day in practising. Several members of the party are still feeling the effects of the rough Tasman trip. Ferrier, Wigley, and Mrs Edwards have been elected a race committee. Most of the * arty gathered to watch the inter-State jump this morning. Only the New South Wales team entered, but Whittaker (Victoria) entered non-competitively. The weather was fine and sunny but a gusty and troublesome wind was blowing, and the snow was soft on alighting. The longest jump was 28 metres, executed by S. A. Katson, who, however, fell in two attempts. The winner was G. Day (New South Wales), who jumped 24, 24, and 25J metres. The runner-up was J. Pattinson (New South Wales), 19J 24, 24J, The langlauf competition was abandoned owing to the unfavourable weather conditions. *
