Masses of flowers from the Viennese and a shoal of telegrams from England and many parts of the world were received by the Duke of Windsor on his 43rd birthday. The Austrian Government extended its good wishes. So many Austrians and members of the British colony called at the hotel that the management provided a book in which birthday congratulations were entered. Extra police kept back crowds outside the hotel.
