The cyclone responsible for the present spell of stormy weather is now passing away eastwards, and an intense anti-cyclone centred near Tasmania extends across the Tasman Sqa on to southern New Zealand and pressure has risen considerably over the Dominion The forecast is for moderate to strong south-easterly winds, reaching gale force in the Strait. Weather cold and changeable with occasional showers, but gradually improving. Seas rough in Strait.
