LIMITED DELAYED

DERAILMENT NEAR TAIHAPE [United Press Association] AUCKLAND, 24th June. Delayed by a derailment of a southbound train at Mataroa, near Taihape, the Limited Express was 2hrs 28min late arriving from Wellinggton this morning, reaching Auckland at 11.58 a.m. The train waited at Taihape for two and a half hours after midnight while the rails were cleared. The passengers state they had a weary wait.
