BLENHEIM, 20th June.

New Zealand championships in two events and one South Island championship were decided at the sheep dog trials, which were continued here yesterday in ideal weather. The South Island heading, pull, and yarding event resulted as resulted: —J. McGovensten (Hawkes Bay), Zoe, 56£ points (possible 60), 1; H. H. Harris (Taihape). Eyle. 551, 2; W. Smyth, (Woodville), Queen, 544, 3; A. Gillanders (Otago), Ben, 534, 4; R. J. Fen (Dannevirkc), Bet. 53j, 5; E. Rutherford (Waikari), Speed, 53, 6; R. M. Wilson (Kirwee), Fly, 52J, 7. New Zealand Heading Championship—R. J. Wiffen, Bet, 1; W. Whyte (Napier), Boy, 2; R. N. Wilson, Fly, 3.

Yarding Championship:—W. Smyth, Queen, 1; R. J. Wiffen, Bet, 2; A. R. Wilson, Fly, 3.

Championship trophies for events so far decided are as follows:—R. Corrigan Memorial Shield, R. J. Wiffen; Commemoration Shield, R J. Wiffen; Prosperity Shield, J. McGovenstenk L. D. McLeod Memorial Cup. R. J. Wiffen; Lilico trophy, R. J. Wiffen.
