BRADDOCK-LOUIS BOUT TO-MORROW CHAMPION’S EXPECTATIONS [United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph -Oopyriglitl CHICAGO, 19th June. James Braddock, who is to defend his world heavyweight boxing title against Joe Louis to-morrow in an interview to-day said: "I am looking for a good, tough fight. Perhaps it will be the hardest of my career. I may even be floored a couple of times, but I will get up and knock out Louis in eight rounds or less.” The champion boxed five rounds with five sparring partners to-day and hammered them viciously with short left hooks, but missed frequently with looping rights. Louis boxed six rounds with three sparring partners and appeared more lively than recently, but was easily hit by rights. Observers feel that he is not the same superb fighter he was before his match with the German, Max Schmeling. GERMAN PROMOTER’S sOFFER FARR-SCHMELING CONTEST BERLIN, 19th June. Following reports that Farr will contest the world title with either Braddock or Louis, the German promoter, Herr Rothenburg, announced that he had offered Farr £15,000 tc meet Schmeling at Berlin.
