DAMAGE IN INGLEWOOD SHOPS [United PresH AHSociation] NEW PLYMOUTH, 22nd April. A sudden downpour of rain at Inglewood this morning in a few minutes caused damage to stock in shops estimated at £IBO. Accompanied by light* ning, the rain was extraordinarily heavy. Gutters were quickly flooded and in a number of shops the water found its way under the roofs to damage the stock.
