HINEMOA CLUB The Hinemoa Club closed its lawns for the season this week, when a pleasant afternoon was spent, games and competitions being much enjoyed by all present Following is the list of prize winners:- -Madigan Cup, Mrs H. C. Wilkes; runner-up, Mrs F. Hill; Shorts’ trophy Mrs N Manssen, runner-up, Mrs C W Kennedy; junior championship, Mrs H C Wilkes; runner-up Mrs C W. Kennedy; C grade sealed handicap, Mrs D Shale; runner up, Mrs Willins; most improved player in Col Plume’s class, Mrs Berryman: Wednesday Golf Croquet aggregate, Mrs S. Wearing; runner up Mrs M. Dee.
Following are the results of the closing day competitions: Golf croquet, Mrs Stalker 1, Mrs S. Wearing 2; French croquet, Mrs S. Spencer 1: consolation, Mrs H. Day: hoop and peg, Mrs N Manssen; consolation golf. Mrs P. Webley.
