POPULAR SINGER CAUSES

CONCERN

A certain amount of anxiety was felt recently by the friends of a wellknown Christchurch singer, .due to broadcast the following night. He had contracted a cold—which was bad enough—it had affected his voice and worse still, he didn’t seem to be worrying at all. There were several, anxious listers-in to the programme that night. Happily his voice came over perfectly and it was generally admitted he had never given a better performance. When asked for an explanation of his rapid recovery—“lts no secret,” he said, “I owe it all to Baxter’s Lung Preserver!” He knew, as thousands of others know, that nothing can equal Baxter’s Lung Preserver for remedying coughs, colds, sore throats and other bronchial ailments. “Baxter’s” is' a warming, soothing remedy that rapidly reduces inflammation, cuts phlegm and relieves congestion. “Baxter’s” has excellent tonic properties, too, to set you up after heavy colds. Be prepared this winter and keep a bottle of “Baxter’s” handy. 1/6, 2/6, and the large family size 4/6, at all chemists and stores. Be sure you get “Baxter’s.”
