SURPRISE WIN BY BELLEVUE , (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) MELBOURNE, 15th March. Having her first race, Mr W. R. Kemball’s Bellevue won the two-year-old events at Moonee Valley to-day at “Wotan odds,” giving racegoers the biggest surprise since the Melbourne Cup. Calliope Handicap—Bellevue, 8.0 (O’Brien) 1; Ena, 9.9; (Morris) 2; Winoobra, 7.8 (Cooper) 3. The starters included a number of good performers. Won by.ji'ajf a neck, with a length and a. quarter between second and third. Time, 1.8. Quality Handicap.—Pamelus, 9.0 (Elliot) 1; Regular Bachelor, 8.8 (Skidmore) 2; Garrio, 8.9 (Reed) 3. Young Idea, Petit Fils, and Dick Devon, also started. Won by two lengths, with a quarter of a length between second and third. Time, 1.325.
