CRICKET KNOCK-OUT COMPETITION (From Our Own Correspondent' The Knock-Out Cup Competition was continued on Sunday when Murchison played Owen on the Domain Ground at Murchison. Conditions were very unsuitable for cricket, light showers of rain falling during the afternoon. At the start of the Murchison second innings, heavy rain commenced to fall, and the game had to be abandqned, Murchison winning by 13 runs on the first innings. Detailed scores were as follows:
PERSONAL Mr T. S. Ryan, Line Foreman of the Post and Telegraph Department, left Murchison on Friday on transfer to Lumsden. Miss Costello arrived in Murchison last week from Westport, to take up a position on the staff of the Murchison High School.
