SAID TO BE IN AUSTRALIA (United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) SYDNEY, This Day. A message from Albury states that Lieutenant Dewar was interviewed there to-day in regard to a rumour that Mrs Freer is now in Australia. Lieutenant Dewar stated that he knew nothing about it. “As far as my knowledge goes she is not in Australia.” He added he was aware that she had given up her position in New Zealand in order to avoid publicity.
