The New South Wales Cabinet is taking preliminary steps for the launching of an electricity scheme which will be the largest in Austral ia ; costing £12,000,000, harnessing streams for hydro-electaric undertakings throughout the country, also the electrification of railways at a distance of 100 or more miles from and to Sydney, linking cities like Newcastle, Lithgow, and Goulburn and the north and south coasts.
