Although the Third Test concluded a week ago, the gate takings are still being counted by a staff of 24. The amount received will be reduced by approximately £3O representing spurious cpins which.were accepted in the tremendous rush at the turnstiles. Coins from France, America, India and South Africa were accepted, as were counterfeit florins, shillings and sixpences.
