EXPLOSIVE SPIRITS
NECESSITY FOR CARE (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. At the inquest to-day on the body of Ault Stohr, aged 73, retired mariner, the Coroner (Mr Gilbertson) found he died from septic absorption from extensive burns accidentally re-
ceived in a methylated spirits explosion, while buring rubbish. His widow said deceased had explained that he lit a rubbish fire with methylated spirits and then went to pour more on and the tin exploded. The Coroner said the fatality showed the necessity for care in handling explosive spirits,
