A small girl, three-and-a-half years old, often adds an originality to her evening prayer. After a bedtime story, giving a moral on perseverance, she knelt to say her usual prayer. “God bless mummy, daddy, and please make Wanda a good girlie, and if you don’t succeed, please try again.”
