THE HON. W. NASH’S HOPE SPEECH AT REUNION DINNER (United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 25th November, 11.35 a.m.) LONDON, 24th November. Responding to the toast of the Old Boys, at the Kidderminster Grammar School reunion, the Hon. W. Nash, New Zealand Finance Minister, said the fortune of the race might be determined for good or evil in the clash between democracy and dictatorships. He believed 'if the latter triumphed all would be lost. He hoped New Zealand and all units of the British Commonwealth would hold to the ideal of freedom and perhaps persuade other nations to adopt it.
