« ANNUAL SOCIAL HELD “ LAST OF SERIES ” The annual social, concluding the £ series of monthly meetings of the 3 local Teachers’ Association, was held * at the Nelson School of Music. The m president. Mr J. B. Lemmer was res--3 ponsible for a varied and excellently 3 selected programme of music and 3 elocutionary items. S. I Claughton, also to the ladies’ choir b and to the accompanist, Miss G. Hodg- ti son, and Mr H. S. Claughton, who had a prepared the part songs sung at each 0 session. ; e
' The function concluded with a dainty supper enjoyed by the large number of guests and members present. The hall was beautifully decorated with flowers and presented a gay scene.
