TWO CONTESTS AT INVERCARGILL (By Telegraph—Press Association) INVERCARGILL, This Day. Two professional boxing contests were staged to-night. The main bout between Roy De Gans (12st 41bs) and Jack Rainsford (12st lOlbs) was won by De Gans on points. De Gans boxed cleverly throughout and displayed superior ringcraft. • Doug Eddington . (9st 121bs) of Timaru, defeated jack Reidy (9st 121bs) of Invercargill, after a fast keen contest.
