LONDON WOOL SALES
FOG CAUSES POSTPONEMENT (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 25th November, 1.35 p.m.) LONDON, 24th November. The wool sales were postponed today owing to fog. LIVELY MARKET AT SYDNEY SYDNEY, 24th November.
At the wool sales, 1J,'667 bales were offered, 12,059 being "sold at auction and 1377 privately. The market was very animated, fleece wools ruling firm at yesterday’s improved levels with a further advance of 5 per cent, on skirtings. Yorkshire and the Continent competed freely, with good support from America. Greasy merino made to 27$d.
