Communists notified the police that they intend to march in the East End on the 11th October from Tower Hill to a meeting at Victoria Park. Ten thousand are expected to take part. It is stated that the rally was planned before the events on 4th October. The Manchester City Council granted permission for a Fascist meeting provided that no uniforms ore worn.
