INVITATION TO McGRATH TO PARTICIPATE IN N.Z. TOURNAMENT (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. A meeting of the management committee of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association decided to send an invitation to V. B. McGrath (Australia) to compete in the New Zealand Championships Tournament. McGrath will also be asked whether he knows of any other leading Australian player who would make the trip. The secretary was asked to draft a report- on the question of New. Zealand entering for the Davis Cup. The report is to be considered at the next quarterly meeting of the Council. The committee expressed itself in favour of a limitation of entries for the New Zealand Championships Tournament.
