AUSTRALIA’S MEMBERSHIP OF LEAGUE COUNCIL WORK OUTSTANDING IN RESULTS (United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 7th October, 1.0 p.m.) LONDON, 6th October. The Associated Press special Geneva correspondent says it is generally regretted that Australia is no longer a member of the Council of the League, as not only Mr Stanley Bruce but Mr MacDougall and other permanent Australian delegates rendered the greatest service to the League. Australia’s work in the field of nutrition and economics was outstanding in results, and her influence on League affairs probably greater than that of any other of the Dominions,
