Jean Batten arrived at Cyprus, having made record time from Brindisi. She refuelled and left without delay for Baghdad. (Received 7th October, 12.45 p.m.) BAGHDAD, 6th October. Miss Jean Batten landed at the Iraq Petroleum Company’s pumping station, midway between Mamascus and Baghdad. She is expected at -Baghdad to-morrow.
