WOOL TEXTILE MERGER
CONSIDERABLE ECONOMIES EXPECTED (United Press Association—By Electric Tel egrapli—Copy right) (Received 7th October, 10.0 a.m.) LONDON, 6th October. An important wool textile merger is announced. Salts Saltaire Limited Pepper Lee Company Limited, Wike have purchased the share capital of Mills Company Limited and Popplewell and Ingham. The business will be run as heretofore. The fusion, it is expected, will avoid overlapping and doubtless result in considerable economies.
