NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION MEETING OF COUNCIL The monthly meeting of the council of the New Zealand Golf Association was held at the secretary's office, Wellington, on Monday, when there were present Messrs W. E. A. Gill (in the chair), W. A. Kicly, J. 11. Drake, A. E. 3cl.ande.rs, C. H. Andrews, and G. O. Sutton (secretary). An apology was received from Sir Alexander Roberts, who was unable to be present. The secretary reported that the New Zealand Railways had agreed to issue.special excursion fares to any bona fide entrants proceeding to New Plymouth by rail for the purpose of taking part in the championship tournament, and the concession will also apply to players’ wives and members of their family. A certificate is to be produced, signed by the secretary of the association, and ihese certificates will be forwarded to those who have entered and are likely to he travelling by train
