An Irishman’s attic took lire. His wife, running for the nearest available Water, seized the kettle from the fireplace. On her way. up the stairs she was met by Paddy. He stared aghast at the kettle in her hand. “Mrs O’Toole,” he said sadly, “but it’s a* regular fool ye are. an’ all. Fancy trying to put out a fire with Lo - . water!”
