NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP WON BY CHRISTCHURCH MAN (United Press Association! DUNEDIN, 4th October. The New Zealand 50,-mile road cycling championship held at Taieri yesterday afternoon was won by W. J. Lamberton (Christchurch), who gained fastest time from the scratch mark, completing the course in 2 hours 11 minutes 23 seconds. The second fastest time went to A. Clemence, 2 hours 12 minutes 17 seconds. The first man home was A. Mackie (Kaitangata) who led all the way, finishing 51sec ahead of C. Gread (Christchurch):
