SINO-JAPANESE DISPUTE
NEGOTIATIONS FOR SETTLEMENT SPECIAL ENVOY FROM TOKIO (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 6th October, 12.40 p.m.) NANKING, sth October. Mr Kmvashima, a special envoy from Tokio, arrived with secret instructions to the Japanese ambassador at Kawagoe. Chiang Kai-Shek will consult the Executive Council to-mor-row and will then open discussions at. Kawagoe which it is hoped will lead to a settlement of the Sino-Japanese dispute.
