TWO NEW LINERS
FAST TRANS-PACIFIC SERVICE SYNDICATE FORMED IN SYDNEY (United Press Association- By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 6th October. 1125 a.m ) SYDNEY, This Day. Mr Brendan Dowling, a Sydney accountant and company director, who arrived in Sydney by the Mariposa, said a syndicate had been formed in Sydney to establish a faster transport service between North America, New Zealand and Sydney. Two liners would be placed on the trans-Paciflc service as soon as practicable.
