CHANGEABLE CONDITIONS PREDICTED Changeable weather wa« forecast to-day, with rain at times in most places, and cool to moderate temperatures. Beautiful spring weather prevailed in Nelson yesterday, 11 hours 10 minutes oi' bright sunshine being recorded. A cold night followed, the minimum temperature being 33.4 degrees at the Cawthron Institute, while in some parts of the city a frost was observed. The barometer had fallen inis morning and after hazy conditions early the sky became more overcast and a trace of rain fell. The weather improved about noon, when the sun shone once more.
