SERVICES OF MR HANDS TO BE RETAINED POSITION AS BUSINESS MANAGER (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. The announcement that Mr E. C. Hands, formerly general manager for the Broadcasting Board, would be retained as business manager of the broadcasting service was made by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, who said that Mr Hands had given good service in the past and had considerable technical knowledge of broadcasting. The Government was only too willing to retain his services.
