BIBLE ALPHABET AS INSOMNIA CURE

Insomnia sufferers may be cured if they adopt a Bible cure, sent to the Mayor of Boston, Massachusetts, by Miss A. E. Dyson, of Cambridge. She writes “A few weeks ago, I read of a millionaire in the U.S.A. who was unable to sleep. I wonder if you could get in touch with him. I feel so sorry for him as I have been in the same plight myself. I have at last found a remedy. When I go to bed at night I do a few deep breathing exercises and then completely relax and say to myself, ‘I am going to sleep perfect sleep,’ I then think of a verse from the Bible beginning with ‘A,’ ‘All ye like sleep who are gone astray’, ‘B; ‘Blessed are the pure of heart,’ And, so on, alphabetically. Before lam halfway through the alphabet I am asleep. I should be pleased to pass my texts on to him if you would let me know his address.”
