SHARP CRITICISM OF BRITAIN (United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 3rd October, 2 p.m.) BERLIN, 2nd October. Sharp comment on Britain’s “land hunger” was published in the “AngI'ifT,” the leading Nazi organ, but was withdrawn in later editions. The article referred to the Conservatives’ resolution regarding mandated territories, and the reported intention of Australia to “annex the Antarctic.” The article contrasted Australia’s population of under one per square kilometre, with Germany’s 139 and Italy’s 153.
