ELECTION OF PRESIDENT Official Wireless) (Received 3rd October, 11.55 a.m.) RUGBY, 2nd October. A Geneva message states that the Third or Disarmament Committee of the League Assembly met and elected Mr Lange (Norway) President and Mr Sadak (Turkey) Vice-President. Delegates stood for a moment’s silence in memory of the late Mr Arthur Henderson.
Mr Anthony Eden leaves Geneva to-night for a few days’ holiday at Monte Carlo.
